What is the 4th Chakra?
HEART CHAKRA (Thymus) (Green) (Anahata) (Emerald): Centre of
Universal love and love for others, compassion and motherliness.
This is connected to the heart. The Fourth Chakra is the Astral Body or Heart Centre. It is the Thymus
Centre. The vibration of this centre is green. This is the first level beyond the three-dimensional world.
This is the level of consciousness that bridges the physical and spiritual worlds. All the muscles in the
body vibrate green.
The Heart chakra activates the feelings of love, kindness and affection. When it is open, you
are friendly and compassionate, and you always try to keep your relationships
harmonious.
When your Heart chakra is under-active, you are uncaring, cold hearted and distant. In the
extreme you could also be cruel.
If this chakra is over-active, you are a clinger causing people to feel suffocated by your
expressions of love and your love may be selfish.

Chakra
- Heart Chakra.
FOURTH CHAKRA: HEART CHAKRA
The FOURTH CHAKRA is located in-the dorsal region in the heart and is named "Anahata.' It
governs the breath and psychic disposition, bestowing virtue, and is related to the Sun. When the Sun is well
placed in a horoscope the native will be truthful, noble and aristocratic in character. The native can build
the liaison between the mind and soul.
The Heart Chakra is the balancing point of the Chakra system. The three Chakras relating to the
physical world are below it, and above are three Chakras relating to the internal representation of the
physical world. It is governed by the sun, and is known by the colour green. Again, this chakra spins faster
than those below it, but not as fast as those above.
Here, we experience love – pure, unconditional love that is all encompassing and so totally
different from the passion-directed love of the Sacral Chakra. This is balance, softness, compassion, an
expansion of the heart and is felt as a state of being, independent of any other person. It just
is.
As the name suggests, physically this Chakra relates to the heart, and also the lungs and
thymus. Therefore, related illnesses could be respiratory problems such as asthma, heart problems and high
blood pressure. A malfunction can also slow down the metabolic rate.
On an emotional level, however, we can feel split between mind and body or become withdrawn into
ourselves. There can also be a tendency to give all our time and energy to others, thereby losing sight of
our own needs and balance. The main message of the Heart Chakra is that of balance and interconnection
between self-love and love for others.
Pure love is love that is devoid of egoism, of calculation, of any kind of demand. When two
people who love each other purely are together, then figures quite beyond description are created above them,
e.g. like a rose-pink rainbow, shining in all the most beautiful rose-pink colours, and rose-pink flowers of
all shades can be seen, as rose-pink is the colour of this chakra.
This is the centre for love, compassion and spirituality. This centre directs one's ability to
love yourself and others, to give and to receive love. This is also the chakra connecting body and mind with
spirit. Almost everyone today has a hard, hurt, or broken heart, and it is no accident that heart disease is
the number one killer in the world today. Deep heart hurts can result in aura obstructions called heart
scars.
When these scars are released, they raise a lot of old pain, but free the heart for healing and
new growth.
When this chakra is out of balance you may feel sorry for yourself, paranoid, indecisive, afraid of letting go,
afraid of getting hurt, or unworthy of love. Physical illnesses include heart attack, high blood pressure,
insomnia, and difficult in breathing.
When this chakra is balanced you may feel compassionate, friendly, empathetic, desire to nurture
others and see the good in everyone. This is one of the most important chakra because if this chakra is in
balance with the three lower and three upper chakras you can become a very powerful healer like that of
Buddha and Jesus. If you learn to control the heart chakra which is connected to the astral body or your aura
then you can become a better healer than Buddha or Jesus.
To master this chakra you have to find a Guru who can train you in the art of Meditation and The
science of Pranayam and get initiated to the reiki 1 and reiki 2.
This chakra is the most important of them all, because it contains the seed for the ability to
feel divine, pure love for everyone and everything.
The Heart chakra is about love, kindness and affection. When it is open, you are compassionate
and friendly, and you work at harmonious relationships. When your Heart chakra is under-active, you are cold
and distant. If this chakra is over-active, you are suffocating
people with your love and your love probably has quite selfish reasons.
How to work Your Fourth Chakra
·
Allow the truth 'Love is Divine Power' to penetrate your body.
·
Raise your attention up to your heart, the centre of love.
·
Welcome the people you're scheduled to meet today into your meditation:
1. Where you feel love for them, send more, boundless love.
2. For those you feel challenged to love, say the
prayer , "Let me learn more about how to love them today."
3. Think about who you need to forgive today; release the rage, bitterness or hurt feelings from
your heart.
4. Tell yourself "Forgiveness is not easy, but today I ask for one more step toward that goal."
5. Release the prayer that you want to look at today through your heart and not through your fears;
that you want to feel gratitude for events that do or don't happen as they should.
6. Keep your attention on the right way to walk into this day, with a heart full of love.
How to train Your Fourth Chakra
1. Take a deep breath to the centre of your emotions, your heart.
2. Review all of your emotions; are you angry? hurt? sad? Release all the negative feelings so you
don't take them into your sleep with you.
3. Move into and feel the energies of love,
compassion, appreciation of other people, and love of this life. Envision those energies as rose petals and
walk through your entire day with the image that you are leaving those petals at every place you have walked.
4. Concentrate now on attitudes and feelings about love, on your need to be loved, and on people
you love dearly. Ask your spirit to enter only into loving thoughts through the night.
5. How have you done with forgiveness today? Place
each person you need to forgive in front of you and to each say, "This is what I need to forgive you for and
I am working at doing that".
6. Now flip the coin and ask forgiveness of those you
have harmed.
7. Picture leaving the rose petals with the prayer "I want to be at peace with you".
8. Say the prayer, "Teach me more about the divine power of love as I sleep".
Questions for Self-Examination
1. What emotional memories do you still need to heal?
2. What relationships in your life require healing?
3. Do you ever use your emotional wounds to control people or situations? If so, describe
them.

wounds of another? Will you let that happen again? What steps are you prepared to take to prevent yourself
from being controlled that way again?
5. What fears do you have about becoming emotionally healthy?
6. Do you associate emotional health with no longer needing an intimate relationship?
7. What is your understanding of forgiveness?
8. Who are the people you need to forgive, and what
prevents you from letting go of the pain you associate with them?
9. What have you done that needs forgiving? Who is working to forgive you?
10. What is your understanding of a healthy, intimate relationship? Are you willing to release the
use of your wounds in order to open yourself to such a relationship?
